EMANA stands for Eritrean Muslims Association in North America. It is an online presence of the Eritrean Muslims association in North America (EMANA) that has been operating in the greater Washington, DC area for decades. As its name suggests, it aims to reach beyond its borders to link Eritrean Muslims across North America.

EMANA Goals

One of the primary goals of our association is to preserve and promote Islamic values and teachings in the community and to inculcate them early in our children. To this end,volunteers in our community provide free Quranic and Islamic lessons to our children. We also have a sister's association and a youth group that meets regularly to discuss various Islamic and community issues. This website was launched to extend these efforts and to reach out to a broader audience InShaAllah.
